Stripping Back to the Shell

The concept starts with a notional Jubilee Hills penthouse divided into small rooms beneath low false ceilings. Its first design act is subtraction: selected non-structural partitions are removed in the proposal and the slab is exposed, with all assumptions requiring survey and engineering verification.

Space Through Subtraction

Pivoting and sliding panels allow the proposed plan to open and close through the day, while a walnut wall can conceal the media room. Floor-to-ceiling storage is integrated behind flush panels so living areas remain visually quiet.

The Discipline of Detail

The detail study pairs polished concrete and micro-cement with shadow gaps, indirect perimeter lighting, and concealed hardware. Home automation is treated as an integrated design layer whose final specification would follow the client brief and technical coordination.
