A Benchmark Where None Existed

The study explores what a high-performance workplace in Rayalaseema could look like without relying on imported finishes or an unlimited budget. Each move is intended to earn its place through climate response, constructability, and usefulness rather than specification alone.

A Façade That Works for Its Living

The proposed identity and environmental strategy share one element: a parametrically studied terracotta brise-soleil whose fin depths and angles respond to solar geometry. The façade is broken into manageable modules so its feasibility can be assessed with local fabricators and masons during detailed design.

Daylight at the Core

A central planted atrium is intended to pull daylight into the 28,000 sq ft floor plate and give work areas a visual connection to planting. Kadapa stone, regional terracotta, and lower-carbon concrete options support an IGBC pathway that would need energy modelling, consultant coordination, and certification review.
